In an effort to improve the accuracy of the previously used waiting lists, and to reduce the amount of correspondence previously required, we have changed the purchasing process that will be explained in detail below. For those folks who are on the current waiting list for Jasmine’s November 2009 litter. The process will remain what was agreed upon during our initial correspondence. The updated list is posted on this page as of 7-1-09 and we will not add any more names to it as we will adopt the following process going forward.

We ask that you review our website and if you would like to add a puppy from NicholBridge Shepherds to your home the process is as follows. First you would send us an email to: whitegermanshepherds@gmail.com expressing your interest in a future litter. We will send you a short questionnaire to fill out. If you prefer, you can click on the puppy application/agreement link on the "contact us" page. The purposes for the questionnaire is for us to have your contact information, be able to match a puppy to your desires, and so you can be on the BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENT LIST. Most importantly, we do not feel comfortable with asking for any financial commitment just to be on the waiting list, which was the other option. When the litter is born we will send out a birth announcement via email to everyone on the list. Then we will fill out the selection order in the order deposits are received. The total price of a puppy is $700, although we only require that you send or deliver a minimum of $100 deposit at this time to secure your spot in the selection order. Experience has proven that this is the fairest approach to everyone involved. Once deposits are received we will notify you and we will post your first name, the city you live in, and your gender preference on our site. The names will be listed in the order of the selection schedule. Throughout the first few weeks we will post weekly pictures of the puppies as they grow. Once the pups have been separated from mom around week 4-5 we allow the selection process to begin. Please read the agreement that comes with the Puppy Adoption Application for more on the selection procedure. There is important information regarding your place in the selection order and your responsibilities for your selection time. When you select your puppy whether it is in person or from the site, we ask that the second deposit of $100 is made. Of course, this $200 paid will be applied to the balance due. Deposits may be made by check, although we do ask that you bring cash or money order when taking your puppy home. Please understand that overwhelming requests to be on the waiting list created the need for this process, along with our continuing commitment to place puppies with capable, loving, dedicated, people who have the best interest of the dog at the forefront of their concern. Our vet has a sign up that says “a puppy isn’t just for Christmas, a dog is for life”.

*We reserve the right to refuse sale of a puppy to anyone who we feel will not give the dog the type of care and treatment they deserve. These dogs are very big, strong and intelligent and they need daily exercise as well as intellectual stimulation. They love to learn and feel as though they have a purpose (even fetching a ball), and they need this everyday to maximize their functional abilities. If left alone without proper care and attention, they can be very destructive and hyper as a result of boredom and/or lack of purpose.
