We ask that you review our website and if you would like to add a puppy from NicholBridge Shepherds to your home the process is as follows. First you would go to the contact us page and you can click on the puppy application/agreement link on the "contact us" page. The purposes for the questionnaire is for us to have your contact information, be able to match a puppy to your desires, and help us do our best to be the most responsible breeeders we can. If your application is accepted you will have a reserved spot on the waiting list for the next litter. We ask that you send or deliver a $50 deposit to secure your spot on the waiting list. This $50 is refundable if we cannot provide you with a puppy due to a small litter or not being able to provide the desired gender. The $50 is NOT refundable if you withdraw your name. Once the pups are born and I know I can provide one for you, I will send out the good news. At this time we ask that you send a $150 deposit to secure your puppy. Once deposits are received we will notify you and we will send you out an invoice with the payments received, selection information and the corresponding dates. Throughout the first few weeks we will post weekly pictures of the puppies as they grow. Once the pups are 4 weeks old we allow the selection process to begin. We always welcome people with accepted applications to come and meet the family of dogs, but we do not schedule visits from when the pups are born until they are about 3 weeks old. Please read the agreement that comes with the Puppy Adoption Application for more on the selection procedure. There is important information regarding your place in the selection order and your responsibilities for your selection time. When you select your puppy whether it is in person or from the site, we ask that the second deposit of $150 is made. Of course, this $350 paid will be applied to the balance due. Deposits may be made by check, although we do ask that you bring cash or money order for the remaining $500 due when taking your puppy home. Please understand that overwhelming requests to be on the waiting list created the need for this process, along with our continuing commitment to place puppies with capable, loving, dedicated, people who have the best interest of the dog at the forefront of their concern. Our vet has a sign up that says “a puppy isn’t just for Christmas, a dog is for life”.
