Sierra

Sierra was the first of our family of dogs. I had a WGS when I was a little boy, and when my son was born I felt as though he needed one too. Sierra is a truly unique dog. She is the watchdog and home protector. She is always alert to her surroundings and will always let you know if there is anything around that she feels may be a threat.
Although she is the oldest of our dogs, you would never know that by her actions. She is most concerned about playing with anyone who will play with her. Her, and our son have a special relationship as he has been sneaking her snacks since he was in a highchair. They have a genuine love for each other that is apparent in their interactions. He will often take his friends in the back to play with her too and she loves it. We had gotten a female (Sierra) with the intentions of breeding WGS one day. We looked for a male for 2 years before we found Khepri, and he was worth the wait. We bred our first three litters with Sierra and Khepri, she was a great mother to her pups and we frequently get correspondence from owners of her pups that reiterate what great dogs they are. She still loves to come in and play with even Jasmine’s puppies, and we always say she has more puppy in her than the younger dogs do. She is a great family pet, and we have retired her from breeding for a number of reasons.
