NicholBridge's Sweet Georgia Cotton
We are excited and proud to announce the addition of Hayden to our family of dogs. Her story is one of intrigue and survival. We were looking for a pup to replace Jasmine as she is headed for retirement while making an improvement in our bloodline. Hayden comes from a strong bloodline that we were familiar with from dog we met who used Khepri for a stud. We traveled to Georgia to purchase what we thought was a pup with a strong white bloodline from a 115lb. mother. We ended up with a very special puppy who is as well behaved as she is beautiful. Hayden came from a 100 acre farm where she was bitten by a rattlesnake when she was 2 weeks old. Some of her littermates were not as fortunate as Hayden was the lone survivor at week 7. She has scars on both sides of her eye as you can see from the pictures, where she was bitten indicating how close she was to losing her sight as well. At first we hoped the scars would fade as she got older but as we have grown to love her and she has very quickly adapted to our lifestyle. The scars now partially define who she is and we hope they never go away! Hayden has quickly learned how to act from the other dogs and has been very receptive to her puppy training. Like most WGSD's she loves to think and learn and she is full of spunk and energy. She plays with every dog we have and they all are surprisingly tolerant and playful with her endless puppy energy. We had not raised a puppy in quite a few years. All of our dogs are very well tempered and this is a positive contribution to Hayden's dog socialization. We are pleased at how playful all the dogs are with her. Even Sierra as she approaches 10 years old loves to play with her and this all aids in the socialization process as we are trying our best to raise the perfect dog. Hayden already has a long list of attributes to contribute to this wonderful breed. We are looking forward to watching her grow and develop in to a big, strong, beautiful WGSD.
